Meet Emily—The Heart Behind Emily Finds Healing

Hi there! ♡ I’m Emily Quint, and I wear many hats in this beautiful, messy journey of life: wife, angel mom, dog mom, daughter, sister, auntie, friend, survivor, advocate, author, sunset lover, and sunflower soul.

Life has shown me that healing starts when we gently embrace vulnerability, nurture our resilience, and connect with others. In these quiet moments of self-compassion and support, we begin to find our way forward. I am deeply passionate about walking alongside others on their journeys—holding space with warmth and understanding as they rediscover their light in the darkness.

I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work to fulfill my dream of becoming a therapist. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Education in Developmental Psychology, and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Addictions and Mental Health. These experiences have reinforced what I believe with all my heart: that healing is personal, but it doesn’t have to be done alone.

At the heart of my work is this truth: love, compassion, and connection are the roots of true healing.

Like a sunflower turning toward the sun, I’ve learned to grow through even the hardest seasons. Now, I walk alongside others—honouring their stories and reminding them that even the most shattered pieces can bloom again.

The “Why” Behind My Work

At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to my younger self—the child who was told she was too sensitive, too much. For so long, I tried to shrink myself to fit a world that didn’t understand or appreciate my sensitivity.

But over time, I learned that my sensitivity is not a weakness; it’s one of my greatest strengths. My empathy, vulnerability, and deep connection to the world around me have become some of my most powerful gifts.

These qualities drive my passion for creating spaces where others can feel truly seen, heard, and valued, just as I longed to feel when I was younger. I stand up for the child I once was and for anyone who has ever been told they’re too sensitive or too much. FYI: You are not.

I believe healing begins when we embrace who we truly are—sensitive, vulnerable, and deeply attuned to the world. These values are the foundation of my work, guiding my mission to nurture connection, healing, and empowerment in every space I create.

If you are struggling, please know that you are not alone.

I see you. I see the weight you are carrying.

Healing doesn’t follow a straight line; it’s messy, nonlinear, and often full of setbacks. Some days, getting out of bed is a victory. Some days, simply breathing is brave. That doesn’t make you weak. It makes you human.

I share my story not because I have all the answers, but to remind you that even in your hardest moments, there is still hope. There is still strength within you, even if it feels buried. My deepest hope is that in these words, you find comfort, resonance, and a flicker of light to guide you forward.

You don’t have to do this alone. You were never meant to.
